Pine Lake
Pine Lake offers fun for the whole family. Recreational activities include swimming, paddle boating, sunbathing on the sandy beach, or enjoying a picnic under the pines. Splash into the water on one of our three water slides or jump off of one of three levels of our 30-foot tower. The fun never ends at Pine Lake!
Swiss Heritage Village and Museum
Here at the Swiss Heritage Village and Museum, you will be able to view a museum filled with local history, enjoy extensive gift shopping, and pick up free village and area maps. The area’s accommodations are first class, and the food is fantastic! We invite you to come see, learn, and enjoy all that the Swiss Heritage Village and Museum has to offer.
The Historic “Land of the Limberlost”
This historic cabin, built by the successful female author Gene Stratton-Porter and her husband, features original furniture, paintings, photographs and an eclectic, Victorian interior design. Visitors can also tour the grounds surrounding the home, which include several miles of trails.
Arthur & Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion
The Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion opened its facility for membership January 15, 2009. Facilities include an aquatic center, strength building fitness area, floor exercise space, a game room along with a lounge area. The center is also able to accommodate receptions and parties.
Berne has been blessed with a plethora of churches to accommodate residents and guests alike. With over 20 churches to choose from, everyone is sure to find a community to fellowship with on Sunday morning.
